Merely changing to polygamous or polyandric relation ship will not solve our problems.

While the genetic reason of spreading the genes is there from time immemorial I do not know about polyandry which may lead to more conflicts.Moreover the practice is prevalent only among a few tribes and most of the religions forbid it.
